Symphony NS will be performing the Pokémon Horizons Suite at this concert of anime music! The suite comprises of three exciting cues—one each from Ed Goldfarb, Akhil Gopal, and myself.

Premiere of Animated Portraits (for Oboe, Clarinet, & Bassoon) with WindRose Trio

May 16, 2026, 2:00pm @ Highlands United Church

Commissioned by WindRose Trio with the help of the Edmonton Arts Council, each movement of this piece was inspired by an anime film and its protagonist — the first film being Mind Game (directed by Yuasa Masaaki) and the second Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (directed by Hayao Miyazaki).
